Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff as an experienced BCBA on a contract assignment in the Bridgeport, CT area. This opportunity is designed for professionals who excel in educational settings and are dedicated to application of behavior analytic principles in school environments.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred Strong assessment and data analysis skills Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee implementation of individualized behavioral interventions in the school setting Provide staff training, coaching, and consultation to ensure fidelity of applied behavior analysis techniques Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection, utilizing results to adapt and optimize intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and administrators to develop and monitor student progress Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with state and district policies
