Join our team at Stark ABA as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism across Fairfield County, CT , including Greenwich, Norwalk, Stamford, Darien, Fairfield, Westport, Bridgeport, Milford, Easton, Weston, Wilton, Trumbull, and surrounding communities. Roles & responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community environments. Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2-6 yrs in home and school settings. Implement individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA. Collect accurate session data and maintain timely documentation. Support the development of communication, social, adaptive, and replacement behaviors. Adjust teaching strategies based on client progress and BCBA guidance. Build positive, professional relationships with clients and caregivers. Provide caregiver support and education in a respectful and collaborative manner. Use evidence-based and compassionate approaches to manage challenging behaviors. Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development. Maintain compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and company policies. Travel locally to client locations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Comfortable driving within at least a 15-mile radius to provide services. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team. Ability to move quickly and safely engage in physical interventions when necessary, including lifting or supporting up to approximately 40 pounds. Work Environment Provide ABA therapy in client homes and community settings. Work independently while receiving ongoing clinical supervision from a BCBA.
