9670552-06604 Job Description Step into a rewarding short-term contract position as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students in a vibrant, inclusive educational community near Bridgeport, CT. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a caseload focused on K-12 students, primarily K-8, providing both individualized (1:1) and classroom-based support. Your expertise as an RBT will be invaluable as you help foster growth, learning, and positive behavior change in a diverse student population. The assignment is scheduled from September 21, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with weekly hours between 6.5 and 8 per day, Monday through Friday.
A special note:
every Wednesday includes a dedicated supervision block after school (1.5 hours).
Important Qualifications:
Active, unexpired BACB-accredited RBT credential (no exceptions) Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students, with strength in K-8 environments preferred Comfort providing both individualized (1:1) and classroom support Ability to work effectively and respectfully within a culturally diverse setting Readiness to begin on the specified start date and commit through the end of the contract
What Youll Do:
Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions Support students social and academic development under a BCBAs supervision Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to create an inclusive learning environment Maintain accurate data and progress notes as required Participate in weekly supervision for ongoing development
