Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into an important role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in a dynamic school-based environment near Granby, CT. As an RBT, you will play a vital part in helping students achieve milestones and succeed academically and socially. This contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate professionals skilled in implementing behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
Desired Qualifications:
Active RBT certification required Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents Demonstrated ability to collect accurate behavior data and maintain documentation Flexibility, patience, and a team-oriented approach
Role Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention and support plans as directed by supervising clinicians Deliver one-on-one or small-group support to students with developmental or behavioral needs Track student progress through data collection and daily progress notes Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other support professionals to promote student success Participate in team meetings to review data and adjust strategies as needed Provide supportive, respectful care and positive reinforcement in all student interactions
