•SCHOOL SHADOW POSITION- The Waverly Group The Waverly Group, a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Old Greenwich, CT, is seeking a motivated ABA therapist to join our dynamic team. The RBT will support preschool-aged children with special needs in a community preschool setting. You'll have a caseload of 2-3 children, with the potential to grow.

Position Highlights:
Work directly with children to enhance social, academic, language, and independence skills. Work directly in a community preschool setting to support neurodivergent students in an almost entirely outdoor environment Hands-on training and career development opportunities. Join a supportive and collaborative team of professionals dedicated to helping children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain NPI and RBT certification within 90 days of hire (RBT coursework and training compensation available. RBT certification application and exam compensation available pending good standing employment for six months). Collect and analyze data to track progress and teaching effectiveness, under the supervision of BCBAs. Create learning materials and stimuli to support children's individualized programs. Communicate regularly with team members and supervisors to ensure cohesive care. Participate in team meetings and RBT-specific clinical discussions. Provide assistance to BCBAs and supervisors as needed. Travel to schools or other locations for work with children outside of the clinic. Work closely with BCBAs to implement individualized treatment plans. Support teachers and classroom staff in implementing behavior strategies within the school setting, promoting positive behavior in group environments.
Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician credential (preferred) Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred). Experience working with children (experience with special needs is a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Enthusiasm for learning and working with young children. Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Basic proficiency with technology for data collection. Must live within a 10 mile radius of job location
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move quickly within clinic and school environments, as well as lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to participate in outdoor activities (i.e., hiking, playground supervision, nature walks, mud kitchen, and outdoor lessons. etc.)
