This is an important support role within the bakery. We are looking for people who move with urgency, notice details, and take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities Washing dishes, sheet pans, mixing bowls, utensils, and bakery equipment Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the day Cleaning appliances, windows, and work areas Taking out trash and recycling Unpacking deliveries and organizing inventory Keeping storage and stock areas clean and orderly Assisting the kitchen team with general cleaning and organization Helping maintain health and sanitation standards throughout the bakery Schedule We are hiring two part-time team members to split coverage for the following hours:

Monday-Friday:

10:00 AM•6:00

PM Saturday:

10:00 AM•5:00

PM Sunday:

10:00 AM•3:00 PM Weekend availability is important. What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to stay on your feet for extended periods and lift/move heavy bins, trays, and deliveries Team-oriented with a positive attitude Prior kitchen experience is helpful, but not required About Birch Bakehouse Birch Bakehouse is a neighborhood bakery in Old Greenwich focused on seasonal baking, thoughtful ingredients, great coffee, and warm hospitality. Everything is made in-house, and we care deeply about cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
