Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement personalized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your dedication will help foster positive growth, skill development, and independence for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by licensed behavior analysts to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that encourages participation and learning. Assist with patient assessments, including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations, to help develop tailored care strategies. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical documentation and records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date. Collaborate with team members to coordinate care plans, communicate client progress, and ensure consistency across all interventions. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and best practices in behavioral health. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical records. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality. Ability to perform patient assessments, including intake procedures and diagnostic evaluations. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach with patience for working with individuals with disabilities in a supportive manner. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
