Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in K-12 settings across a network of schools in and around Stamford, CT. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 7, 2024, with interview slots open immediately. Flexible scheduling options are available; full-time is preferred, but part-time or per diem arrangements may be considered. As a BCBA, youll play a crucial role in making meaningful, measurable change for students with a range of needs, including those with emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and learning disabilities. Caseloads can range from approximately 15 to 35 students, supporting different schools in Hartford, Stratford, Westport, and the greater Fairfield County area.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current BCBA certification required Experience working with school-aged children (K-12), ideally in educational or behavioral settings Familiarity in developing, implementing, and monitoring effective behavior intervention plans Strong skills communicating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff Ability to manage documentation efficiently and maintain compliance with relevant policies and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention strategies Train and support school staff and caregivers on effective behavior management techniques Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for students with diverse disabilities Maintain accurate and timely records for all students on assigned caseload This is a unique chance to make a genuine impact within supportive educational communities, with immediate openings ready for candidates who can interview and start quickly.
