Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a supportive school environment near Stamford, CT. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals who are passionate about fostering positive behavioral change, creating individualized intervention plans, and advocating for students growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification in good standing Demonstrated experience working with children or adolescents in a school or clinical setting Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Proven ability to design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when consulting with educators, families, and related service providers Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, administration, and families to support student needs Train and provide guidance to school staff on ABA strategies and best practices Collect and review data regularly to evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the overall educational planning process Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain thorough, accurate documentation This is an opportunity to positively impact students educational journeys while working in an encouraging, team-oriented setting.
