Job Description

Make an immediate impact supporting students Pre-K through 12th grade in a district-wide behavioral role. A full-time BCBA is needed for a short-term, 9-week contract assignment beginning as soon as possible. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse student population, working across multiple campuses in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide behavioral assessments, develop intervention plans, and support implementation for students across all grade levels (Pre-K12) Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff to deliver effective behavioral supports Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to support academic and behavioral success Consult with staff and families, offering training and guidance on behavioral strategies Maintain thorough records in accordance with district, state, and ethical guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Connecticut (required) Prior school-based BCBA experience highly preferred Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a range of disabilities Familiarity with supporting both individual and group behavioral needs across multiple campuses Reliable transportation to travel between sites within the district Strong communication and collaborative skills Availability for a virtual interview process Ability to begin on short notice and commit to the entirety of the 9-week assignment This is a rewarding opportunity to work full-time, approximately 77.5 hours per day (final schedule will be confirmed), making a noticeable difference district-wide.
