Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a direct impact by supporting middle school students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a contract role near Waterbury, CT. This full-time position centers on providing dedicated, one-on-one support to a student working through behavioral challenges. Your expertise and compassion will help foster growth and success throughout the school day. To thrive in this position, you should bring: An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) License Experience working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges, preferably within a school or educational environment Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to upholding professional standards and confidentiality Patience, empathy, and a student-centered mindset Your primary responsibilities will include: Delivering individualized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to a middle school student on a 1:1 basis Implementing behavior intervention plans as directed by supervisory staff and BCBA Collecting accurate data and daily documentation of student progress and behaviors Communicating regularly with the student's instructional team to support consistency Contributing positively to the classroom environment while maintaining a supportive approach Enjoy a rewarding career with competitive pay ranging from $25-29 per hour, based on your experience.
