Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract role as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting students through evidence-based practices in a vibrant educational setting near Wethersfield, CT. Make a daily difference providing individualized 1:1 attention and contributing to the success of the ABAB program. This is a full-time opportunity where your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician will have a direct impact on student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required Previous experience with ABAB program implementation preferred Proven skills working 1:1 with students in educational or therapeutic environments Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other support staff Reliable, organized, and adaptable in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions in alignment with ABAB program protocols and student IEP goals Collect detailed data and monitor progress, ensuring accurate and timely documentation Engage students using positive reinforcement and trauma-informed practices Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and families to maximize support strategies and adapt plans as needed Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that values student growth and well-being Participate in ongoing professional development and training as required Enjoy the benefits of working full time while earning $30 per hour in a collaborative school setting.
