The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is primarily responsible for providing direct care to the individuals that BBH serves. The RBT is directly accountable for the consistent implementation of the interventions laid out in classroom/individual behavior support plans (BSP). The RBT will work closely with supervisory and other staff to ensure that the client/student is able to achieve the behavior goals set forth in the BSP. The RBT will work to provide the highest quality client/student services possible by the organization using any obtainable resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Directly implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans consistently. 2. Collect accurate data for all behavior programs. 3. Serve in a direct support role, behaviorally and educationally, and consult the supervising behaviorist regularly for additional support. 4. Meet regularly with the supervisory staff to address any program changes, further training, and/or for in-situ supervision. 5. Adjust interventions or methods as instructed by one's supervisor. 6. Be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of each intervention in place for every individual on his/her caseload at all times. 7. Regularly review treatment plans for all individuals to ensure treatment integrity. 8. Maintain all forms of documentation as directed by supervisory staff 9. Maintain RBT credentialing. 10. Arrive on time to work, prepared to do all aspects of your job for the duration of the shift. 11.Ensuring there will be no personal contact with client families that is not first approved by one's supervisor (separate from parent training as part of one's session work for in-home work). 12. Enter appointments in Aloha billing system on a weekly basis and submit timesheet.

Qualifications:

1. At least 18 years of age. 2. High school diploma or national equivalent. 3. Completion of 40 hour training, based on the RBT Task List. 4. Successfully complete criminal background check and sexual registry check. 5. Exhibit excellent public, employee, client and agency relation skills. 6. Demonstrates excellent client service under challenging conditions. 7. Ability to take constructive criticism on performance as given by supervisors. 8. History of making reliable decisions and effectively communicating with others.
