Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment just outside the heart of Washington, DC, where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can truly make a difference. As a contract professional specializing in support for schools, you'll collaborate closely with staff, students, and families to drive meaningful behavioral and academic outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a BCBA. Experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral treatment plans. Excellent communication skills for engaging with educators, students, and parents. Collaborative spirit and adaptability within diverse learning communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans. Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students. Train and support school staff on best practices in behavior management and data collection. Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain effective documentation. Act as a resource to families, offering guidance on strategies and progress. Maintain up-to-date BCBA credentials throughout the assignment.
