Job Description

Lead Registered Behavior Technician Washington, DC 20008 From $55,000 a year - Full-time From $55,000 a year - Full-time Join our Pediatric Multidisciplinary Team as a Lead Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Washington DC! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RBT with strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) who is ready to step into a leadership role. In this position, you will serve as the voice of the ABA Department working closely with the clinical management team and serving as a liaison between BCBA and RBT teams to support quality care, accurate data collection, and efficient operations across clinic and home-based settings. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ABA therapy to children ages 0-10 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other behavioral challenges
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
  • Serve as the voice of the ABA Department, working closely with clinical management and the multidisciplinary team
  • Train, mentor, and support new and existing RBTs
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection and assist with data review
  • Support BCBAs in the implementation and maintenance of behavior intervention plans
  • Serve as a point of contact for RBT team members
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • RBT Certification (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and fluency in ABA Principles
  • Experience in Multiple ABA Settings
  • Excellent Written & Oral Communication
  • Leadership Experience (Preferred)
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Current TB Skin Test Experience Working with children: 4 years (Preferred)
