Job Description

Job Overview Seeking RBT in Milton, Dover, and Dagsboro! We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Minds in Bloom ABA. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans and acquisition programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing quality patient care and supporting the development of essential life skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. If you are interested in working with children with autism, training can be provided by us! Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Educate clients and their families about behavior management strategies and techniques. Maintain detailed records of sessions, including behavioral data and notes on client interactions. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavior management and applied behavior analysis. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is preferred. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families. Ability to manage challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and respect for individual needs.
