Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a dynamic and supportive school program serving K-8 students with moderate to severe cognitive needs. This contract position is based at a respected educational facility in the Wilmington area, working onsite alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities you'll lead include: Conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individual behavior intervention plans Collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to implement evidence-based strategies Providing ongoing professional development and coaching for school staff Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed Supporting positive behavioral change and crisis intervention for students Contributing to program development and adherence to compliance standards Preferred experience and required qualifications: Current, active Delaware BCBA licensure (required) Previous school-based BCBA experience (highly preferred) Demonstrated skill in program development and behavioral oversight Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Proven expertise in working with students with significant cognitive and behavioral needs Commitment to the principles of ethical practice, collaboration, and ongoing learning This is a full-time, onsite opportunity—Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM-4:15 PM—running through June 2026. You'll work exclusively within the Meadowood K-8 Program.
