Job Description
Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students with moderate to severe cognitive needs in an early childhood setting. This engaging onsite role runs through June 2026, with a high potential for renewal, and encompasses both school year and summer programming. Provide expert behavioral analysis and intervention where it's needed most—ensuring that young learners receive the best possible start.
Key qualifications:
Current, active Delaware BCBA license required Demonstrated experience servicing early childhood and/or intensive needs populations Background in school-based settings strongly preferred Confident and committed to working fully onsite Ability to provide behavioral supports and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Role responsibilities: Design and implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust strategies as student needs evolve Guide teachers and support staff with behavioral strategies and evidence-based practices Maintain compliance, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with state and district standards Engage with families and educational teams to foster consistency across environments Participate in summer programming and professional development days as outlined: Summer schedule:PD Days:
June 23 & June 24, 8:00 AM-3:30PM In-Service:
July 6-August 6, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-2:00 PM School year schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM This position requires a commitment to fully onsite support and involves work at the Early Years Program, making a direct impact on student success.
