Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving a vibrant K-8 community dedicated to students with moderate to severe cognitive needs. In this on-site role, you'll use your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to enhance educational experiences and make a significant impact through behavioral support and program development. Collaborate closely with a passionate team to provide hands-on guidance and advocacy for young learners.
Qualifications:
Active Delaware BCBA licensure (required) Previous school-based experience highly desirable Strong foundation in developing and implementing behavioral interventions for students with diverse needs Proven ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Commitment to data-driven practices and individualized student support Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized plans for K-8 students Deliver ongoing behavioral support in classrooms and small group settings Provide training and consultation to teaching staff and paraprofessionals Monitor student progress, collect data, and refine strategies as needed Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate on student programming Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child This full-time contract role runs from now through June 12, 2026, with a consistent weekday schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM-4:15 PM).
