Job Description
at Amergis in Newark, Delaware, United States Job Description The Behavior Support Specialist ( BSS ) is a trained individual who provides behavioral services and case management to students in an educational setting and provides field training and supervision to School Aides, Behavior Technicians, and related field staff under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA ).
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field (Education, Psychology, Human Development or similar) required
+ Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Support Plans
+ Experience collecting behavior data
+ Preferred experience in providing behavior analytic services in school
+ One year minimum pediatric experience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
