Job Description
Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician for a school located near Newark, Delaware. The RBT will provide services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, support academic engagement, and promote positive student outcomes. The RBT will also be supporting student(s) in accessing their educational program in alignment with their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the supervising BCBA Provide direct 1:1 support to students with behavioral or developmental needs Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress toward goals Assist in developing and reinforcing academic, social, and daily living skills Support classroom teachers in maintaining a structured, positive learning environment Use evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis strategies (e.g., reinforcement, prompting, redirection) Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with school and Behavior Analyst Certification Board guidelines Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required in order to apply. Experience working with children in an ABA setting is preferred. Familiarity with IEP goals is recommended. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations is desired.
