Job Description

Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support elementary students in a K-12 school setting located in Newark, DE. The role involves working full time from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with a contract duration through June 12, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
Active or previously held Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; a current snapshot of certification is required. Proven school-based experience working with students exhibiting aggressive behaviors. Comfort and ability to provide life-skills support, including self-care and toileting assistance.
Location:
Positions are based within elementary school settings in Newark, DE.
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions and support to elementary students in a general education classroom. Address and manage aggressive behaviors using applied behavior analysis techniques. Assist students with life skills such as toileting and personal care, ensuring respectful and safe interaction. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized behavior plans.
