  • Are you a Behavior Specialist Consult (BSC) looking to join a team of dedicated behavioral professionals in a school setting? If so, join Devereux as a BSC for schools in Delaware! Everything you do is billable!
  • Location:
  • New Castle County
  • Schedule:
  • School-based hours, 10-month position with the option to work Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer
  • Compensation: $65,000-75,000
  • per year, based on qualifications and assignment. _The range includes compensation for BSC's who participate in the district's optional Extended School Year (ESY) program, which typically runs for approximately five weeks from early July through the first week of August._

  • What You'll Do:
  • + Provide behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities + Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) + Develop and implement behavior intervention plans + Train and support school staff on behavior strategies + Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • About the Devereux Center for Autism Education Services
  • The Devereux Center for Autism Education Services offers empirically-validated behavioral treatment programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, as well as children, adolescents and adults with behavioral concerns and/or other developmental disabilities.

We provide clinic and community-based diagnostic, therapeutic and educational services, including specialized staffing. Our individual and group-based interventions support the learning of meaningful skills, including interpersonal interactions, health and wellness, and independent living. \#sponsored

  • Qualifications
  • + Completion of an ABA master's program and actively accruing BCBA fieldwork hours towards certification OR + Enrollment in a master's program in ABA and pursing BCBA certification + Experience working in school-based settings preferred + Strong collaboration and communication skills Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
