Elementary Hours:
8:45 AM - 4:15 PM EST We are seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, school-based position supporting an elementary Autism Program in Wilmington, DE. This is an onsite opportunity for an RBT who is comfortable providing hands-on behavioral, instructional, and personal care support to students throughout the school day. Required Credentials Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Active Delaware PARA Permit Both credentials are required for consideration Position Details The RBT will work directly with elementary-aged students within an Autism Program and collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, paraprofessionals, and other school professionals.
Responsibilities may include:
Implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies Providing individual and classroom-based behavioral support Collecting and documenting behavioral and instructional data Supporting students who may require appropriate physical intervention strategies Assisting with academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals Collaborating with the classroom and special education team Providing support wherever needed based on district and student needs Remaining flexible, as classroom assignments may occasionally change Personal Care Requirements Candidates must be willing and able to participate in bathroom and personal care duties. This includes toileting, diapering, wiping, and hygiene assistance when required. These responsibilities are a required and non-negotiable part of the position. Candidate Qualifications Active RBT Certification Active Delaware PARA Permit School-based experience strongly preferred Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Experience supporting students who may require physical intervention Strong understanding of behavioral and instructional data collection Comfortable providing personal care and bathroom assistance Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a school team Must be available for the entire 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM schedule No part-time schedules, late starts, or early departures will be considered Interview Process Qualified candidates will complete a 15-30 minute Google Meet interview.
