Job Purpose:
The Behavioral Tech III at LifeStream Behavioral Center is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with mental health and behavioral challenges. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for clients. The position requires a high level of expertise in behavioral health practices and a commitment to improving the well-being of individuals served by the center.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and support clients through direct observation and interaction, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans and treatment protocols as directed by clinical staff.
  • Document client behavior, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client care strategies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, following established protocols.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new staff members by sharing expertise and knowledge.
  • Continuously update skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
Qualifications Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required Required Experienc e:
  • Minimum of Two (2) years experience in substance abuse and mental health setting is required
  • Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation and case notes.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards in behavioral health services.
  • Competency in utilizing technology and electronic health records for client management.
Work Schedule :
