Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Behavioral Tech III at
LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER
is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and support to clients during Shift 1. The position requires a compassionate and professional approach to assist clients in achieving their treatment goals and improving their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and support clients through direct observation and interaction, ensuring their safety and well-being. Implement and follow individualized care plans and treatment protocols as directed by clinical staff. Assist in the development and facilitation of therapeutic activities and group sessions. Document client behavior, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client care strategies. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to health and safety regulations. Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, following established protocols. Support the onboarding and training of new staff members by sharing expertise and knowledge. Continuously update skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting. Proven track record of managing and supporting clients with diverse behavioral health needs. Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation and case notes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards in behavioral health services. Competency in utilizing technology and electronic health records for client management.
