Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, applying behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and skill acquisition. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care plans and behavioral strategies. Support the implementation of client-specific care plans while adhering to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and behavior data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing home-based or school-based behavioral interventions. Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols accurately while maintaining ethical standards. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
