Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral challenges. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their goals through evidence-based practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavior management techniques and have experience working with children in a therapeutic setting. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation of behavioral changes. Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills through structured activities. Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care. Provide support in managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement strategies. Engage with families to provide updates on client progress and strategies for continued support at home. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Experience or knowledge in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, or special education is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining medical records is essential. Previous experience working with children in a behavioral health or patient care setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A compassionate approach towards clients and their families, demonstrating patience and empathy. Ability to assist clients with various needs while promoting independence and skill development.
