Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Overview As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to a 13-year-old client diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The RBT will work directly with the client in the school environment, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and supporting the client's behavioral, educational, and daily living goals. Responsibilities Work directly with a 13-year-old male client diagnosed with autism in a school setting. Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA or other qualified supervisory staff. Collect accurate data on observable client behaviors and treatment progress. Assist with the implementation of educational and skill-development programs. Support the development of communication, social, adaptive, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills. Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, BCBA, and other members of the treatment team. Follow clinical recommendations and modify implementation based on supervisory direction. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Provide consistent and professional support throughout the client's school day. Qualifications & Skills Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred/required. Experience working with children or adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques. Ability to collect and accurately document behavioral data. Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and skill-acquisition programs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a school environment. Reliable, patient, professional, and compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents. Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and clinical direction. Schedule 30 hours per week in a school setting in Bradenton, Florida .
