Schedule:
Full-time employees are expected to maintain approximately 30-40 hours per week of availability, with scheduled hours based on client needs and attendance. Full-time schedule with expected consistency, though hours may vary based on client attendance and cancellations Sessions conducted in home, school, and community settings Non-billable responsibilities (e.g., documentation, communication, and collaboration) are expected as part of the role. Opportunities for additional non-billable hours may be available based on client needs. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform ongoing treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks Support clients during therapy sessions by using positive reinforcement strategies to promote desired behaviors Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each individual's needs Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral health interventions Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and experience assisting with ADLs in a caring manner Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management is advantageous Ability to work effectively with children and individuals requiring specialized educational support in a patient, compassionate manner Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframes is required Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies.
