Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Crestview, FL. In this vital role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' lives through evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA). This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your skills in behavioral health and patient care within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' developmental goals. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines. Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavioral therapy techniques tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments. Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, growth, and independence for clients. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence. Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management. Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and compassion for working with diverse populations. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families. Join us in making a difference! Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
