Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. The RBT will play a vital role in implementing individualized behavioral therapy plans for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through direct behavioral intervention, data collection, and client communication within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, focusing on skill development and behavior management. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional skills in various settings. Collect and record accurate behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavioral health principles, including behavior management strategies aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding progress, challenges, and treatment goals to foster collaborative care. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of therapy sessions, adhering to confidentiality standards and organizational policies. Participate in ongoing training related to applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education techniques, and home-based behavioral interventions to enhance service quality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required or in progress. Prior experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurodevelopmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Experience working in school settings or home-based environments supporting individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' functional independence goals. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
