Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform ongoing treatment plans Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks Support clients during teaching sessions to promote skill acquisition in communication, socialization, and adaptive behaviors Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client's needs Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and behavior management strategies Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy methods and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Excellent communication skills for teaching, guiding, and motivating clients effectively Ability to collect detailed data accurately and utilize it to support behavioral interventions Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on positive reinforcement and behavior management Knowledge of medical documentation standards, medical terminology, and maintaining secure medical records Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to behavioral health and special education goals This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow professionally while making a tangible impact.
