  • Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions, supporting clients' growth and independence, and collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while developing valuable skills in behavioral therapy and special education.
Current RBT Needs:
RBTs needed between 20-25 hours per week Can be available Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM (this is not the schedule needed just the time frame of availability) Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure the effectiveness of interventions. Support clients during therapy sessions by applying behavior management techniques in accordance with established care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, growth, and positive social interactions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and teaching techniques for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of ABA terminology and documentation standards related to behavioral health services. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
