Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with clients who need therapy and will implement the ABA behavioral plan. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently. Provide support in teaching new skills and behaviors through structured activities and play. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and medical documentation. Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and special education. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable. Background in special education or behavioral health is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical standards in behavioral therapy.
