Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, evidence-based behavioral therapy to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' lives by implementing personalized treatment plans and supporting their developmental goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles, including behavior management strategies Support clients during structured teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques for skill acquisition and social development Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in treatment delivery Support the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or other neurodevelopmental challenges Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably within a school or home-based setting Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance Previous home-based behavioral experience or direct behavioral therapy roles is a plus Strong understanding of special education practices and experience supporting clients in educational environments Commitment to professional ethics aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to improving lives through compassionate, effective behavioral health services. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
