PHAS is seeking experienced RBTs to join our amazing team of professionals. Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team. RBTs provide 1:1 support to children ages 2-12 diagnosed with Autism and related disorders, implementing individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Early Intervention/Center-Based RBTs:
We are currently seeking 2-3 RBTs to work with young children receiving early intervention services in our center-based or preschool-based settings. These positions are ideal for RBTs who enjoy teaching communication, social, play, adaptive, and school-readiness skills with a supportive clinical team. We will consider new RBTs who have relevant experience, who bring initiative, a passion for learning, and a desire to grow from feedback.
School-Based RBT:
We also have an opportunity for an experienced RBT to provide services for a 5th grade client in a private school setting. This position is best suited for an RBT with experience working with clients who exhibit challenging behaviors. The ideal candidate is confident, dependable, and able to implement behavior plans consistently with regular support and consultation from the BCBA. Male candidates are preferred for this particular position based on the client's needs. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct support to clients in various settings. Monitor and document client progress through accurate medical documentation and maintenance of medical records. Collaborate with other team members, including supervisors and technicians, to ensure a cohesive approach to care. Assist the BCBA in the development of programs tailored to each client's unique needs. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis practices. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring their well-being at all times. Qualifications Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and applied behavioral analysis principles. Strong English skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and families. Ability to document medical records accurately and in a timely manner. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help clients succeed. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
