Miami, FL Job Details Full-time $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications RBT Certification Achieving HIPAA compliance Maintaining patient confidentiality HIPAA Working with children Direct support Patient interaction Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your focus will be on implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data to monitor progress, and supporting clients in developing essential skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care tasks Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching social skills, communication, and behavioral management techniques Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment delivery Foster a positive and engaging environment that encourages learning and growth for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) is essential Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies is advantageous Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines is important Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams are required Previous background in special education or teaching roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory A compassionate attitude combined with patience and dedication to patient care will help you succeed in this rewarding role
