Job Description

Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives while building your expertise as a Behavior Specialist (BCBA) in a supportive K-12 educational setting. Located near Labelle, FL, this onsite contract opportunity welcomes travel professionals passionate about providing evidence-based behavior support to diverse caseloads. Bring your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials to serve approximately 50-60 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. Your role will be instrumental in helping children reach their fullest potential through dedicated behavioral intervention and collaboration with school teams.
Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required Experience with K-12 populations strongly preferred Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices Ability to design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Flexibility to support a diverse caseload onsite
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with behavioral needs Provide direct behavior analytic services, modeling techniques for staff and family, and supporting school teams Train and consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to implement evidence-based strategies across school environments Collect and analyze data to monitor and adjust interventions as needed Contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on student plans Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school policies and compliance standards This contract-based position offers the chance to join a dynamic educational environment dedicated to student success.
