Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress through evidence-based practices like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and our multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans that promote independence, communication, and social skills. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene, to support their independence and well-being Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to reduce challenging behaviors and teach new skills Support clients during direct behavioral therapy sessions in various settings such as home, school, or community environments Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior management reports, and client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to ensure consistency of care and provide updates on progress Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure responsible practice at all times Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), is highly preferred Demonstrated experience in special education or behavioral health settings, particularly with implementing ABA therapy protocols Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous Home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting individuals with disabilities will strengthen your application Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, client communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this role Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodiverse populations helps foster understanding and effective intervention strategies Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate care and innovative behavioral interventions. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
