Job Description
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and confident Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism, developmental disabilities, and significant behavioral needs. Some available cases involve severe challenging behaviors, including physical aggression and other behaviors that may present safety risks. Candidates interested in these cases should be comfortable working with higher-acuity clients and implementing behavior and safety protocols under BCBA supervision. Training and ongoing clinical support are provided. Job Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct 1:1 ABA services in home, community, and other approved settings. Collect accurate data through direct observation and measurement of client behavior. Implement reinforcement, prompting, antecedent strategies, and behavior-reduction procedures according to the treatment plan. Follow established safety and crisis-management procedures when necessary. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and client progress. Communicate professionally with supervising BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team. Participate in ongoing training and supervision.
Requirements:
BACB Registered Behavior Technician Certificate Medicaid Provider number (not required, but preferred) 1-year experience working with children, adolescents or adults with autism or other behavioral disabilities (not required, but preferred) Must speak English, bilingual (Spanish, Creole) preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support)/CPR certification Certifications of in-services in the treatment of mental health, developmental or intellectual disabilities, crisis management strategies, and HIPAA. Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. Maintain a positive, open, and objective attitude towards others Need to have clearance with Background Check. Must be 18 years of age. Need to have reliable transportation. Access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Proof of auto insurance liability coverage. Ability to drive to multiple locations daily.Benefits:
