Full Job Description The Soft Stuff:
We are in need of compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible RBTs to join our team.
The Hard Stuff:
We are in need of RBTs in Volusia and Orange County. We are looking for candidates to work in one OR both areas. Working in both areas is preferred but not required. We offer PTO that does not expire. Overtime may be available. Commuting to different locations within an area is to be expected when needed, with most days involving a school and a home/community session with clients within a reasonable driving distance (about 15-30 minutes). Our kiddos range from age 3 to 20. Daily submission of session notes is required with no exception. Receive a $300 sign on bonus paid after 90 days of employment. Receive a referral bonus of $300 after 90 days of the referred RBT's employment with the company. Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive growth and independence. You will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that foster skill development, enhance communication, and improve overall quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in behavioral health and special education while making a lasting impact. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions using ABA techniques tailored to each client's needs, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence in routines such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene. Collect and analyze data during sessions to monitor progress, inform treatment adjustments, and ensure fidelity to care plans. Support clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities by implementing structured teaching strategies and behavior management plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to develop or update individualized care plans based on client progress and changing needs. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to behavioral health protocols, assisting with crisis intervention when necessary, and supporting clients through positive reinforcement techniques. Submit session notes daily. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
Preferred:
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially in behavioral therapy or special education settings.
Preferred:
Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods. Ability to implement behavior intervention plans effectively. HIPPA Compliance CPR/First Aid Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral health practices and ethical standards. Obtain local law enforcement background check and level II background screening through the Clearinghouse.
