Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on approved treatment protocols, ensuring consistency and fidelity to ethical standards. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines. Collect and record data meticulously on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders by applying ABA techniques tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to develop and update care plans that promote positive behavior change. Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Engage in training sessions on special education strategies, behavior management, medical terminology, and ethical practices aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in home-based or clinical settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives using applied behavioral analysis (ABA). Experience collecting data for behavioral interventions and maintaining detailed medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous. Previous exposure to working with individuals on the autism spectrum or neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with behavior management techniques, special education principles, and home-based behavioral support will set you apart as a candidate.
