You will be with the student from arrival until dismissal. Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental and behavioral challenges, including autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) to improve client outcomes. You will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized behavioral interventions that foster growth, independence, and well-being. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development Collect and record accurate data on client progress, behaviors, and responses using electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients during therapy sessions, including social skills training, communication enhancement, and daily living activities Assist with intake assessments and ongoing behavioral evaluations to tailor interventions effectively Use de-escalation techniques and crisis management skills to ensure client safety during challenging situations Administer medication under supervision when required and document medication administration accurately in medical records Maintain confidentiality of all client information while ensuring proper documentation of medical terminology and records Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and crisis intervention techniques Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or mental health conditions such as PTSD is a plus Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and basic first aid/CPR certification required for emergency response readiness Strong communication skills for client interaction, family collaboration, and interdisciplinary team coordination Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems, medical documentation standards, and maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on behavioral health and client-centered support Flexibility to work with youth across various settings while demonstrating excellent de-escalation techniques Join us in making a positive impact through compassionate care, innovative interventions, and dedicated support.
