Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your expertise will drive positive behavioral change, support skill acquisition, and improve overall quality of life for our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse settings, including home-based environments and schools, while collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform intervention strategies. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles tailored to each client's unique needs. Collect and analyze data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress, adjust interventions, and ensure treatment efficacy. Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff to maintain high-quality service delivery aligned with best practices. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to facilitate consistent implementation of behavior plans across settings. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation and safeguarding client confidentiality in all records. Support clients through intake assessments, behavioral health evaluations, and ongoing progress reports while maintaining clear communication about treatment goals and outcomes. Requirements Valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with current certification status. Proven experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessments, and behavior intervention techniques. Experience working in diverse environments such as homes, schools, or clinics; familiarity with home-based behavioral therapy is a plus. Ability to perform detailed data collection, analyze trends, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience managing medical records within a clinical setting. Familiarity with medical documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance is essential. Demonstrated ability to conduct behavioral health assessments and support clients through diagnostic evaluations. Experience providing clinical supervision or mentorship to behavior technicians or junior staff is preferred.
