AFTERNOON RBT NEEDED HOURS ARE 5
30 TO 8:00PM We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and therapeutic interventions. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients in their daily routines, fostering skill development, and promoting positive behavior change in both home and school settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical practice and client care. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on approved ABA protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, dressing, and hygiene, promoting independence and life skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to their unique needs, including communication, social skills, and functional routines. Engage in direct behavioral therapy with clients, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate regularly with caregivers, teachers, and team members to update progress, discuss care plans, and coordinate services effectively. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols. Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Ability to assist with ADLs and support client independence in various environments including home-based settings or schools. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members professionally and compassionately. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices consistent with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
