Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress using electronic health records (EHR) management systems Support clients with co-occurring disorders, including psychiatric conditions and addiction issues, through tailored strategies Engage clients in therapeutic activities such as art therapy and social skills training to enhance communication and emotional regulation Assist with psychiatric patient care by monitoring mental health status and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Address gender issues counseling needs sensitively and respectfully, ensuring a safe space for all clients Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, treatment progress, and any incidents or concerns in compliance with regulatory standards Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and psychopharmacology principles is a plus Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for documentation purposes Strong understanding of psychiatric patient care practices and co-occurring disorder management Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families effectively Join us in making a meaningful difference!
