In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with daily living skills, and support clients in achieving their full potential. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behavior change. Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and feeding, to enhance independence. Support teaching sessions that develop communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each client's needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to ensure consistency in treatment delivery and client progress. Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages trust, patience, and motivation during therapy sessions. Requirements Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies in various settings. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
