Windermere, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $20 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Qualifications RBT Certification Applied behavior analysis Medication pass administration Driver's License Full Job Description Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - In-Home Services Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home services for a 26-year-old nonspeaking male with Autism. The ideal candidate is person-centered, professional, flexible, and committed to supporting client independence while presuming competence at all times. This position takes place in a private home alongside a collaborative team of caregivers, household staff, and family members. We are looking for someone who works well within a team environment, takes direction professionally, communicates effectively, and contributes positively to the household.
Schedule Day Shift:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Current available shift openings: Monday through Saturday Part-time and full-time positions available Some weekend availability required
Summer Schedule Requirements :
During the summer months, the client and family regularly travel to a beach residence. Staff must be willing to participate in approximately 2-4 beach trips per month Beach trip shifts are typically 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) Applicants must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to the beach residence as needed Flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments related to travel is highly preferred Flexibility is highly preferred. The client receives around-the-clock care, and occasional call-outs or coverage needs arise. Candidates who are willing to pick up additional shifts when available are strongly encouraged to apply. Overtime opportunities are available for approved coverage shifts. Primary Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and document data regarding client progress and behaviors Assist with development and implementation of client goals and care plans Provide direct support while ensuring client safety, dignity, and autonomy Maintain accurate documentation and records Educate and collaborate with family members and caregivers as appropriate Work collaboratively with household staff, caregivers, and family members to ensure consistency of support Additional Household Expectations While the primary responsibility of this position is behavioral support, there may be periods of downtime throughout the shift. During these times, team members may occasionally assist with light meal preparation, organization, or other minor household tasks related to client care. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to contribute as needed while maintaining professional boundaries.
