About Affluent Learning Center:
Affluent Learning Center is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric facility offering bilingual therapeutic services to children from birth to 10 years old. We provide screenings, evaluations, therapies, and group programs to support children with developmental differences. Our approach is rooted in acceptance, community, compassion, dedication, and opportunity, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team part-time, with the potential for full-time employment. The RBT will work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement ABA therapy for children with developmental differences, including autism spectrum disorder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, supporting children in behavior acquisition, and collecting data to track progress. A full caseload will be gradually added for full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Teach functional communication, social, and daily living skills to children. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Write daily progress notes to document client outcomes and session activities. Restructure environments and activities to foster client success. Collaborate with BCBAs, SLPs, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each child. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and milestones.
Requirements:
RBT Certification (Required) High school diploma or GED (Required) Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (Required) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to travel locally as needed. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Active Medicaid Provider ID (Required)
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate: $22.00-$30.00 per hour (W-2 position, based on experience and qualifications) Paid training and professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Gradual transition to full-time caseload
